Five steps against dark spots, uneven tone and dullness — tranexamic acid, niacinamide, arbutin, vitamin C and retinal, stacked in the order they work. An at-home clinic that corrects without wrecking the barrier on the way there.

INSIDE THE SET

  • 1 · Prep — Rice 70 Glow Milky Toner (250ml). 70% rice water, niacinamide and ceramides; hydrates and evens while it preps.
  • 2 · Correct — TXA Niacinamide Serum (30ml). 5% tranexamic acid, 10% niacinamide, 2% arbutin — the heavy lifting.
  • 3 · Renew — The Vita-A Retinal Shot Tightening Booster (15ml). 0.1% retinal and 3% Matrixyl for texture and slack pores.
  • 4 · Eyes — Tranexamic Acid + Glutathione Eye Cream (30g). 1,000ppm of each, plus vitamin C.
  • 5 · Glow — Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Glow Mask (25ml). The weekly radiance reset.

THE RITUAL — MORNING

  • Cleanse, then the Rice 70 toner — pat in with palms or a cotton pad.
  • TXA Serum — a generous layer over the whole face, or concentrated on the spots.
  • Eye Cream — a small amount tapped in with your ring finger.
  • Moisturiser, then sunscreen — essential, not optional, while you are using brightening actives and retinal.

THE RITUAL — NIGHT

  • Cleanse, then the Rice 70 toner.
  • Retinal Booster — a small amount over the targeted areas. New to retinal? Every other night for the first two weeks. A mild tingle is normal; if it goes further, use less and follow with a soothing moisturiser.
  • Glow Mask, once or twice a week — after toner, ten to twenty minutes, then pat the essence in. Skip the retinal on mask nights so you are not layering everything at once.
  • Eye Cream, then moisturiser to seal.
  • SPF the morning after — always.

Why we chose it. Pigment does not come from one place, so it does not answer to one product. Tranexamic acid works on the melanin pathway, niacinamide and arbutin on what has already surfaced, retinal on the texture underneath — and the toner and eye cream keep the barrier intact while the actives do something demanding. Sequenced, it is a clinic. Bought piecemeal, it is usually a mess.
